"I decided to use the Brush 5 under the paintbrush tool, correction was on 5. By reducing the line correction my drawings have become more accurate and less distorted, this has allowed me to keep within the line during frames."
My first line test was created to understand what it will be like to animate the explosions within the animation, the main character and secondary character Eastern dragon. Though short this line test covers three main elements within the story. Opening Eastern dragons eyes and his head turning was attempted. This could not make it into the line test for I haven't found out how to physically edit each individual frame once it's extended exposure, if one frame is edited, all the other frames follow. I may try to have my animation made up of thinner lines, and completely get rid of auto correction in the drawing tools. This way my linework will be as accurate within the lines as possible, as I still found the correction tool smooths out; but not too dramatically.
Doing this line test has allowed me to really understand what will be going into the animation with this particular style. Face and eyes may even need to be separated as Dragon is particularly complex in his face; and I would like to landmark his body more expressively and gesturally first before moving onto detailed areas to keep animation time fluent and faster/more effective.
Before doing any further line tests which will occur during development for my animation, I wish to further study my sources movements and better understand the timing - as my source moves particularly fast.
